It’s only been slightly over a month since TradeLens announced the addition of MSC and CMA-CGM, respectively the second and fourth largest carriers. Blockchain has emerged as a go-to tool for all industries, with the supply chain being no exception. Back in 2018, Maersk joined forces with IBM to introduce TradeLens, a blockchain-based shipping solution that is already upending the world of supply chain and logistics.
Those two container ship companies are Marseille-based CMA CGM and Geneva-based Mediterranean Shipping Co (MSC). Today TradeLens announced the addition of the world’s fifth and sixth largest shipping carriers Hapag-Lloyd and Singapore-based Ocean Network Express (ONE).
